For All The Cows exhibited at Maison de l’architecture du Québec

We are glad to announce the our project For All The Cows about Architecture and Décroissance will be part of the Exhibition “Structures végétalisées: l’utopie verte” (“Vegetalized towers: a green utopia”) at the Maison de l’architecture du Québec (MAQ). The exhibition will present the latest architectural explorations conceived by Daniel Corbeil.
The artist and sculptor will be experimenting, through a large architectural model, the idea of the green tower including real living plants. The main installation will consist of an 8 feet high cylindrical
tower, filled with lichens, mushrooms and even fishes. Daniel Corbeil’s work
questions the relationship between nature and architecture. Can the living really prosper that well on a high-rise building, as well as it is represented in the architects’ depictions?

The Maison de l’architecture du Québec is the only independent artist-run centre in Canada
that specializes in architecture, urban planning and landscape design. MAQ’s
mandate is to stimulate and celebrate creation and debate in all aspects of
architecture.
